Vacations rocked so much (see livejournal) I forgot to mention there that Halloween (the actual 31st) The tradition is as follows: kiddies dress up the day before (saturaday) which is not hallowenn but anyways, go to stores and ask for candy, not house to house. It's a kiddies holiday, and there's no variety in candies, there's no chocolate chips or the good stuff just ceap chewy candies, which I can no longer eat cause I'm stubborn and refuse to give in! muahahahahaha

The picture is of La Petite Monstre, Me, Marie (dark haired girl super pretty) and Lulu at La Dune de Pyla, the biggest sand dune in all of Europe....a lot of sand...

The race up the Dune de Pyla. It was super easy going down but it took us 20 minutes to get back up...

The Buddha House

This is René's mummy (aka mami Jumihac)'s mini temple that she built outside her house. She offers sacrifices like apples and then eats them later. It's so pretty, but she still sacres me a bit
